Congratulations to Nolan McKeever, Chris Beno, Jamal keene, Michael Derbecker, Chris Niemira, and Chris Locandro, all of these boys have been selected to join the Region III ODP squad for selected trips this seasonal year.
Last year the squad visited Spain and played several La liga teams including ReaL Madrid, and Barcelona FC.
The boys were selected after attending the Region III ODP soccer camp in AL.
This is another great achievement by our players and continues a long success story of Cobb FC players representing the State of GA, and our 12 State Region Team.
These boys all are members of our 92 premier team that participate in the Region III premier league as well as the USYSA National league.
In recent weeks this team as well as our 89 premier team represented the club at the USYSA regional championships in Raleigh, the 89s lost in the semi final to long time rivals Solar soccer club, 1-0. The 92 s came unstuck in the quarter finals to a very good Lone Star team from Austin TX, 3-1.
