The Select Committee of the Board of Directors announced today that Girl’s Director of Coaching Gary Germaine will be leaving the club and pursuing other interests. Plans for his replacement have not been finalized.
ā€œGary has done some wonderful things for our Girl’s program, bringing in qualified coaches with a great deal playing experience in women's soccer such as former Atlanta Beat players, coaches with college coaching experience, and increasing the number of girls in the program overall,†said Chris Werner President of the Board, ā€œwe part as friends and wish Gary all the best. His enthusiasm for Girls soccer will be hard to replace and I will miss him.ā€ ā€œI’ve met some wonderful people here at Cobb FC and in Georgia,†said Germaine, ā€œI thank each of you for your hospitality and assistance during my time here. I will stay in touch.ā€
All Girls Academies will practice at the same previously scheduled times but the location has been changed to the South side of Tramore Park on fields # 10 and # 11.
