Congratulations Joe Bendik.
Tonight on Fox Soccer Channel Clemson played UNC in the ACC Conference.
Cobb FC Olde Boy Joe Bendik made a first half appearance , in goal for the "Tigers" and played the last 25 minutes of the first half.
Joe who is a freshman, and former U17 National team player played very well in front of a 7500 crowd, at the famous Riggs field.
Joe played all of his youth soccer at Cobb FC, arrived at Clemson this August, and is looking forward to a great college career.
Clemson beat the Tar Heels 1-0 with a Darren Poe goal.
Well Done Joe we are all very proud of you.

3 V 3 Soccer Days.
Please find below the dates for the 3 V 3 soccer fun days this fall.
October 13th 9am - 3.00pm
November 7th 9am -3.00pm
February 20th 9am - 3.00pm
May 30th 9am -3.00pm.
These days are open to all Cobb FC Players.

ATLANTA CUP SUCCESS
Over the course of the labor day weekend the club had many of our select teams particpate in the Atlanta Cup. The Atlanta Cup is the biggest 3 day tournament in the Nation with over 700, teams from 10 -12 states.
This year Cobb FC would like to congratualte all its teams who attended, and a special mention to the following teams who brought home the silver ware.
We had 5 teams make the finals and two bring home the champions title. Please click on the title to see more of the story.

Cobb FC Players to Represent Region Team.
Congratulations to Jack McInerney, Darvin Ebanks and Nolan McKeever from our U15 Premier team in their selection to represent US Youth Soccer ODP Region III in the Thanksgiving Inter-regional event on the Disney Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

SKILLS NIGHT ANOTHER SUCCESS.
Well done to all players who attended the skills, finishing and goalkeeping session tonight.
We had over 60 players in attendence and every player worked very hard.
The session tonight focused on finishing, the 4 finishing topics were:
1) Break away 1 V1 finishing
2) Dribbling and beating a player to shoot
3) First time shooting
4) Combinations around the top of the box.
