U-13 Lady Chiefs Victorious in Tennessee

Cobb FC's U-13 Lady Chiefs earned another tournament championship last weekend with a series of battling performances in the Nike Impact Fall Classic played in Knoxville, TN. The team defeated competition from Ohio, Eastern Tennessee, and Central Tennessee, scoring eight goals and conceding only one in the process. The undoubted highlight of the weekend was a hat trick of goals in a six-minute period by Rebecca Uranga to secure a 3-0 victory over the tournament hosts in the team's final game. Some fine individual goal-scoring performances were anchored by the team's ever-dependable defence which has conceded only one goal in the last eight-and-a-half hours of tournament and Athena A/B division play.
